I was going around with an unusual pain in the lower part of my stomach. For about 6 months I was living with the pain and trying to find out what is the cause and to figure out by myself how to make the pain go away. I decided finally to go see a doctor that someone had recommended. I made an appointment. The office looked pretty busy. It gave me more assurance about the doctor’s reputation. My turn arrived and I walked into his office. I told him about the pain and showed him where it is. He pressed on it with his hand and immediately said, I have a hernia and need to be operated. He told me to come tomorrow morning to have the surgery done. I went to the front desk to make all arrangements with the secretary and left the doctor’s office. When I arrived home, somehow, I felt a little uncomfortable about the doctor’s fast decision to operate on me. I decided to call the office and ask about her boss, the doctor. All asked her two questions some sort of reassuring myself about his capacity. I ask how long she was working for him and how good is he. She said about three years, and he is a very good physician. To my shock, less than 5 minutes after my conversation with the secretary I received a phone call the from the doctor totally Histerycal screaming at me and telling than I should not show up in his office again and he will never want to see me. Probably she went to tell him about my inquiry and obviously did not like it. About a month after this episode I went to see another physician after his visit I asked straight if I have a hernia that calls for a surgery, and he said no, it will go away by itself and it did a month later the pain went away. My idea of calling the secretary saved me! The Hand of GOD saved me!
