I left my car in front of my house with a sign CAR FOR SALE .For about 3 to 4 days I received some phone call from potential buyers asking me for the price of the vehicle and told them its $12,500 Dollars .Few days passed by and not one serious buyer to make the deal . After 2 weeks I was getting anxious and disappointed I just wanted to sell the car and move on with my life .I decided to lower the price drastically and offer the car for $4,000 Dollars less than the original asking price.I got a phone call from a buyer .He came to see it and test drive it .He loved it and he said, I want to buy the car for $ 8,500.Dollars .He told me that he will come in 2days with a certified check and we should prepare all the necessary paper work to finalize the transaction .I told him we have a deal ,the car is yours on hold, without a deposit or anything else .In the meantime I received a phone call from someone that saw the car previously and wanted to pay the full original price of $12,500. I told him that the car is sold .Since I gave my word to the buyer that the car is on hold for him ,even though he didnt give a deposit ,I am a men of honnor and i had to keep my my promise .Happy to sell the car for this discounted price ? definitely not The day of the transaction , the buyer came with a Bank check and he said, please show me the Title of the car and same time he reads the mileage 887.000 miles .The car had only 87000 miles when I bought it 3years earlier .I myself was surprised .I never looked at the title when I originally bought the car .Now, I had a ligitimate reason not to sell the car ,he understood and did not want to buy it either .The DMV made a typo error ; the Mileage on the Title had 800.000 miles mistake ! .The-HAND OF GOD , Thank YOU !
